ATLANTIS, ancient City by the Sea

Atlantis Hill and the Sea of Azov

The Atlantis Dialogues state that the Empire of Atlantis was founded upon a hill by the sea. The treasured archeological site, Mithridat Hill, is a famous hill by the sea, with a long, glorious and tragic history. The Kerch/Panticapaeum location matches all the criteria recorded in the sacred Egyptians registers, as recorded in The Dialogues by Plato.

Only small remnants of the once mighty and magnificent temples of the Kingdom of Bosporus still exist. For archaeologists, who began excavating the site at the close of the eighteenth century, Panticapaeum is unequalled in the Black Sea region in its richness of ceramics, jewelry, sculptures, and other artifacts. The World Monuments Fund included Panticapaeum on its 2004 World Monuments Watch List of 100 most endangered sites.

Today, atop Mithridat Hill, stand a only a few ancient columns, a monument honoring the bravery of heroes and small light house, shining out a single ray of light, as a beacon to guide our journey home. From this unassuming hill, our Blue Planet tribe migrated around the world. Mithridat hill is the most sacred spot on Earth. This hill is the birthplace of our modern civilization, and the heart of our beloved Motherland.

ATLANTIS Hill, the Sacred Citadel by the Sea

This is the true tale of ancient Panticapaeum, capital city of the Kingdom of Bosporus , north of the Pontus ; the history of this ancient city has remarkable similarity to the ancient Egyptian records of the City of Atlantis , as recorded in Plato's Dialogues.

Listen, dear friends, to a tale from ages long past of a mighty kingdom that rose to power on the northern shore of a great sea. Because of the greatness of this kingdom many merchants from foreign countries sailed their trading vessels into the harbor. They traded for the abundant riches of gold, silver, ivory and exotic produce from this kingdom; which were exported to destinations far and wide. The harbor was full of vessels and the docks were a din of activity with merchants, sailors and visitors navigating the labyrinths of naval stores and vast array of diverse cargo.

The capital of this kingdom was protected by a wall surrounding the city. In the center of the city was a hill, not very high on any side. An elaborate palace, glorious temples, exotic gardens and impressive civic buildings were constructed on the top and terraced slopes of this hill. The citizenry had opportunity to relax, after their labors, in hot minerals baths. They refreshed and enjoyed themselves in invigorating natural mineral springs.

Outside the city walls was a fertile plain. Due the pleasantness of the climate, a rich variety of fruits, crops and produce were harvested, in infinite abundance, twice a year. Herbs, essences, ointments, flowers, nuts and distilled drinks furnished nourishment, pleasure and amusement for the inhabitants of this ancient kingdom.

The land immediately about and surrounding the city was a level plain. Majestic mountains, celebrated for their number, size and beauty, rose with splendor beyond this portion of the plain. They contained rivers, lakes and meadows supplying food enough for every animal, wild or tame, and much wood of various sorts, abundant for each and every kind of work. These mountains descended toward the sea with precipitous cliffs along the shoreline.

The kingdom flourished for many generations as the populous continued building their palaces, temples and fortifications. Even in the ground beneath this thriving metropolis, citizens were busy excavating tunnels to quarry red, white and black rock to be used in the construction of their kingdom.

This kingdom withstood the onslaught of invaders, wars and civil rebellions… but finally it was destroyed by a devastating earthquake.

This tale of an ancient kingdom built by many generations and sustained by the natural abundance of the land and sea, though seemingly fantastic, is absolutely true. The kingdom was known as Bosporus . Its capital was Panticapaeum. The hill, not very high on any side, is now known as the famous Hill of Mithridat. Eleven thousand-six hundred years ago the temples of Atlantis stood upon this hill, and were suddenly destroyed by devastating eathquakes and a great flood.
